Life is about connection—to each other, to nature, and to ourselves—and I’m passionate about helping people rediscover that connection.
For me, the outdoors is where I truly come alive. Whether I’m taking in the view from a hilltop, singing around a campfire, up to my neck in an icy river, relaxing in a hammock in the woods, or foraging in the hedgerows, the outdoors is my sanctuary. For too long, this part of me lay dormant, buried in the busyness of corporate and family life, but now it's set free!
There was a time when I deferred to others for their practical outdoor skills, but I realised I wanted to embrace those abilities myself. In recent years, I embarked on a personal journey to address that, following threads of curiosity and learning from the inspiring people I met along the way. With each step, my horizons widened, and my senses awakened.
Now I'm on a mission to share what I've learned about how beneficial the outdoors is to health & wellbeing; to help you get off your phone, find your joy & reconnect to lost knowledge.
Through Joyful Outdoors, I offer experiences that encourage you to step away from the digital world, take a breath, and reconnect with the outdoors. Whether it’s foraging, learning bushcraft, or mindful walking, my sessions are about slowing down, being present, and engaging with the land in practical, meaningful ways.
In addition to outdoor adventures, I’ve embraced laughter yoga—an unexpected path that's brought me huge joy. It’s been a rewarding reminder of the value in staying open to new experiences!
